In my opinion, the job of society is to provide maximum protection for the individual within a framework of maximum freedom. The very thought that any one person (or group of people) should be able to tell me what I can or can't do with my mind and body is abhorrent. Unless I begin to cause damage to other members of society, it's none of anybodies business.
