I recently bought an adm3a for dial-in purposes (Hey, at $125 the
price was right!).  Anyway, I'm experiencing problems with vi.
The following actions cause the screen to go crazy, and end up putting 
lots of garbage in my edit buffer then throwing me into text mode.  

	hitting <cntl-k> while at top line of file
	hitting <cntl-j> while at bottom line of file
	hitting <cntl-h> while at column one of file
	hitting <cntl-l> while at last column of file
	hitting <ESC> when in command mode
	(probably other things that slip my mind)

I can usually recover by hitting <ESC> and undoing my last action, but 
can anyone suggest WHY this is happening and WHAT I can do to correct it?
