The same columnist in the Philadelphia Inquirer also wrote about the
ruthless, brutal slaughter of neats, just so their feet could be pressed
into neat's-foot oil.  He also discussed the plight of adorable, furry
minces, who were being exterminated only to provide certain selfish
humans with mincemeat pies.  There was more....
