A Hollywood director wanting to end his relationship with his live-in
girlfriend told her that he was leaving on a business trip and that when he
returned several days later, he wanted her and her belongings out of his
house.  Upon his return, he was pleased to see that she had moved out and
that the house was in good order -- except that the telephone was off the
hook.  When he put it back, he heard a strange language on the line; it
turned out that he was connected to the time number in Tokyo, which brought
that month's bill to $80,000.
