    All right, already! I admit it! It's me! I'm the funniest white man
in America!

    There, I said it. What a relief to finally get that off my chest. You
don't know what it's been like, locking a secret like that up inside you,
day after day, year after year, letting it eat you up inside. Never telling
anyone all this time. And then, this DAMN newsgroup discussion started, and
kept going, and JUST WOULDN'T STOP! BUT YOU ALL KNEW THE ANSWER ANYWAY,
DIDN'T YOU? JUST LIKE TO SIT THERE AND WATCH ME SQUIRM, WONDERING WHEN
I'LL CRACK? WELL I HOPE YOU'RE ALL HAPPY!

    Alright, so now you know! Little could will it do you - after all, just
because I'm the funniest white man in America, doesn't mean I have to ACT
like the funniest white man in America. That's right, you heard me! You can't
MAKE me be funny - all these years of hiding the truth have taught me how to
suppress the urge to exude humor. I can walk down any street now, just like
any other white guy, and you won't hear anybody whispering behind my back

	"Get a load of THAT guy! I'll bet he's funny!"

    And don't think I'm the only funny guy in the closet. According to a recent
People Magazine reader survey, at least one out of ten people in this country
admit to being funny. Think about that - maybe that little old lady who lives
up the hall is funny. Or the gas station attendent on the corner. Or maybe even
your BOSS! (Of course, many bosses like to pass for funny, as a demonstration
of the power of their position. Don't be fooled! People like this are lonely,
hollow souls, looking for an indentity in this complex world of ours, and think
they can find it in humor.)

    So the next time someone seems a little funny to you, remember - funny
white guys are people too!
