We are exploring this avenue for a number of reasons. 1. We are unable to find an affordable (less than $125/week) day care within reasonable distance from home/work that we feel provides adequate care for Nathan. (I never have a warm/fuzzy feeling about the place). 2. The choice is to have daddy at home because of the disparity in our salaries - we can't do it on just daddy's, but may be able to do it on mine. 3. David (daddy) is very well-suited for the job. Our concerns involve the following issues: What if mom resents abandoning her :-) "God given" role at home? Will dad feel isolated without "buddies" in similar roles? Will other people give us flack? (I know my parents will but I am big girl now.) Please respond with comments to ...!harvard!bunny!tbc0 or tbc0@gte-labs.csnet If I only receive mail in response I will post a summary to the net.
