Summary: occ is not a compiler for transputer

In response to Jeff Mock's query about an Occam compiler for the transputer,
Jeff Elman responded in net.arch with information on the Unix system available 
from Peter Welch at the University of Kent.  This is a perfectly usable system,
but it does not compile to the transputer.  'occ' produces vax code which
can then be executed.  It is thus good for writing and debugging occam programs,
but it cannot be used to produce code for the transputer.
 
We at Cornell are also very interested in locating an Occam compiler for
the transputer which runs under 4.[2-3] bsd.  Any leads out there?
