The 4-pass compiler for the Lilith developed at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, produces M-code (which is directly executed by the Lilith hardware.) This compiler is public domain in the sense that anybody can get a tape of the compiler from ETH Zurich. There is a distribution fee, however, which I believe is in the range of $150. Anybody who is interested in obtaining this compiler should write to Institut fur Informatik Modula-2 Distribution ETH Zentrum CH-8092 Zurich Switzerland They will send you a little leaflet on what compilers they distribute and a licence agreement which you have to sign and send back, together with the check for the distribution fee, of course.
