mainly, i am looking for detailed info about pascal p-code (i.e.
enough detail to write a p-code interpreter).  can anyone
suggest articles or books that will help?  all sources that i
have found give a brief description of the concept, usefulness,
portability, and so on of p-code but none present an actual
instruction set. 

 also, i know
that there are several different versions of p-code, such
as ucsd, los alamos, etc..  is there a standard?  which p-code
is cleanest, easiest to implement, most popular, etc..?
