I'm looking for good, accurate, popular or semi-popular books on sleep
science and/or sleep disorders.  I would also be interested in any
outstanding technical general introductions to the field, but please make
it clear that it is a technical book (I'm posting this request in part for
someone else, and while I might have the background, aided by some general
medical reference books, to get something out of a technical book, I'm not
sure that they do).

This type of request frequently gets a lot of essentially duplicate replies
(or none at all) so PLEASE, for the sake of the rest of the net.med readers,
reply by mail.  I'll post a complete summary in a few weeks.
