I remember reading an advertisement for the Ramex disk system for the Timex-Sinclair 2068 computer that holds ~800KBytes on a DSQD disk with a transfer rate of ~32KBytes/second for ~$500 for the interface and drive #1, and SP-DOS, the DOS. Has anybody seen/used this? If so could you tell me if getting this system is worth my money, or would the route to cassette-free computing be to go with a different computer? I'm working on a student's budget, so inexpensive is the key word here, but I still want quality. ---Thanks in advance, Matt Schaefer. __________ Disclaimer: My opinions and my unfacts are all my own; /\ _______\ And nobody else may have them unless they are my clone. \ \ \____ / \ \ \/ / / ARPA: schaefer@puff.wisc.edu \ \/ / / bambam!alfred!{schaefer, root}@gumby.wisc.edu \ / / UUCP: {allegra, ihnp4, seismo}!uwvax!puff!schaefer \/_/ \!uwvax!gumby!bambam!alfred!{schaefer, root} VOICE: (608)221-1320 USNAIL: Matt Schaefer 621 Vernon Ave. Madison, WI 53714 USA
