As the subject line says, my external drive does not seem to be in the best of health. I truly worry about the disks that sit in it, because they come out extremely warm! Is this SOP for the external drive, or do I have a bum unit? BTW, I was surprised that no warranty card came with the external drive or the 256K RAM card. How is C-A going to handle service on these peripherals? Thanks. Lee P.S. The noise my drive makes seems to be the motor starting and stopping. It's just a tiny little peep, but it started yesterday and seems like the start of a problem. I'd like to nip this in the bud. Can I say that in mixed company?
