However, there is a lawsuit pending in which Atari is claiming a prior right to the original Amiga company and, therefore, to the Amiga itself. I am not sure of the details, but I believe that Atari wants some kind of payment for each Amiga sold. This may be the source of this rumor. If anyone wants to look into this further, I believe that it was addressed in Infoworld back around Christmastime or the first of the year.
