A company's non-executive employees are not in a position to make pronouncements about that company's health or business practices. Also, it would be silly to respond to every "the Atari dealer told my friend Joe that CBM was about to go under" rumor. You can get better and more timely information by reading the Wall Street Journal's coverage (generally critical) than from the net.
