Sorry about that subject head, just washed my hands and can't do a thing with 
them...

The best 80-column card I know of is the Applied Engineering Viewmaster-80, 
which works in an Apple ][, ][+, or //e (slot 3).  It is Videx compatible, but 
it also has much advanced compatibility, including being (I think) the only 
80-column card that supports the Applesoft HOME command.  Retail price is 
$139.00, from Applied Engineering, P.O. Box 798, Carrollton TX 75006.

BTW, I have a Viewmaster-80, and I am VERY satisfied with it.
