My power supply is black and has the cable coming out of opposite sides of the box. All the others are grey and have cables coming out of the same sides of the box. The cable going from the power supply to the disk drive is thicker on mine, also. Here's the question: I heard that the old system unit power supplies had surge problems. The way you could identify one of these power supplies is that the cables came out of opposite sides of the box! My system unit power supply seems to be ok, but should I worry about my disk drive? (I hadn't turned off my ST in about two weeks, and when I did, I had troubles booting). Thanks. Todd Fujinaka
