May I suggest that when a uuencoded file is posted that the size of the
original file be given also.  This at least provides some, althouh small,
verification that the code/decode process went well.

If we are to continue to use uuencode/uudecode to transfer binary files
it might be wise to add some verification procedure such as a checksum
or CRC for the whole file.
