Lines: 16 <> Is there some 3B2 command which will trick a port into thinking that there is a device with a high carrier connected to it? More specifically, we have a maxwell modem connected to our 3B2 via contty port, which works fine on dial-in but the 3B does not see the modem on dialout. Since there is no HARDWARE set- ting on the modem to set carrier high, I am looking for alternative solutions. PREFERABLY a 'set carrier high' command on the 3B would solve our problem. Any Ideas? Thanx. Dave
