We already have a 3B2/310 with 2MB RAM and 72MB hard disk. I realize that the expanded UNIX PC (3B1) can be expanded to 2MB RAM and 72MB disk with 3 expansion slots for more RS-232 ports, memory and a cartridge tape drive. The 3B1 floppy disk holds 320K and the 3B2 720K. The 3B1 uses a 68010 microprocessor running at 10 MHz, the 3B2 a WE 32100 running at 10MHz. Other than the differences listed above, what differences are there between the 3B2/310 and the 3B1 other than cost? (i.e administrative, processing power, etc) Please post responses to this newsgroup or send electronic mail to me. I really appreciate all the responses I have gotten to previous articles and I am sure this article will be treated the same. -- ============================================================================== Dale Finkey, AT&T Bell Laboratories, Indian Hill, IH 4J-329 Naperville, Illinois 60566.
