( with and without a hard disk ) Step by step idiot proof directions would be appreciated, but I will take anything. I will post the results as soon as I can. My version is 1.06f. (What is the latest?) In particular, I would like to know: (1) what is the best ramdisk program to use (and the pitfalls)? (2) what is the best configuration for the ramdisk? [what files on ramdisk vs. floppy. configuration technique how to make the ramdisk the startup disk] (3) what is the best system configuration? [install console on System V3.0 or use the system as is from Manx? Cache size if V3.0 ?] (4) any idea of when an HFS compatible version will be avail? Currently, I am using the Assimilation RD (which dosn't seem to work if it is larger than 400K) with /bin, /include, and /lib on the ramdisk. (I haven't figgured out how to make the ramdisk the startup disk.) The boot shell script loads these files from an auxiliary disk which is then ejected and unmounted.
