Well, here I've finally received my MacTerminal V2.0 upgrade, and 
I see that it now support several new protocols.

Wellll, I'd just  figured  out  that I could use XBIN/MACPUT with 
MacTerminal V1 (and that still works if I so choose that protocol 
with  V2), but what do  I  need  to  use  (from  VMS),  and  what 
advantages do I get, with the OTHER protocols?

Has anyone put together  a matrix from their experimentation?
