I would appreciate hearing from anyone who is using WordPerfect
version 4.1 with the Hewlett Packard Laser Jet Plus printer. In
particular, I need information on the proper procedures for sending
printer escape codes (Comnd:<27> etc.) to the Laser Jet.

By imbedding escape codes within a document, I have been able to shift
the character pitch from 10 to 16.6 and back again to 10. However, I
have not been able to select a font cartridge or change the stroke
weight without sending an ESC E which of course resets the printer and
ejects a page.

Would also like to hear about other word processors on the Laser Jet.
