Lines: 7 On the topic of self-selection, I would agree with Greg's assertion that some sites won't run arbitron. Usenet "site" apollo is actually about 1500 machines with 2000 users, about 200 of them news users. The arbitron script won't work here because of the diversity of machines, protections on home directories, and people who shut down their node at night. At one time I was enough of a shell hacker to make it work, but I just don't have the time or inclination for that stuff any more.
