It can do a uuxqt -> sh -c compress -d | rnews on a 50K batch in about three and a half minutes (unloaded). Guess I don't have anything to complain about. Once I saw someone type "la" (used to be a link to w, like uptime) three times on the console of a VAX-11/750 that was having major problems.
