This can be overcome by specifying "vnews -n net.xxx" on the command line, EXCEPT if the is a sub-specialty in the given newsgroup. For example, if I have read one article in net.news, then when I next call vnews, it will skip to the next newsgroup to which I subscribe. If I specify "vnews -n net.news" it will automatically give me net.news.adm, even if I do not subscribe to it. Does this happen anywhere else?? Does anyone have a fix for this bug??
