Results: yes 5 no 4 One of the "no" votes (pluto!warren) requested that the suggestion be withdrawn due to the fact that most articles aren't cross-posted. Both "yes" and "no" voters indicated that the group had a legitimate purpose; "yes" voters indicated that purpose wasn't fulfilled by merely being a cross-posting of net.unix-wizards; "no" voters indicated that it could in the future serve good purpose if we (the net) leaned on those persons who cross-posted inappropriate articles. Some feeling that cross-posting has gotten out of hand was expressed. I certainly can't deny the possibility. However, based on the results of the vote (and limited number of voters), I can't advise taking action in this case. -- Tanner Andrews
