Summary: 

I am curious about the general job scene for chemical engineers
in U.S.A. Here in Canada the slump in oil prices has brought about
a tremendous slowdown in the traditional oil based industries
like petrochemicals etc. I guess the answer is to diversify one's
qualifiactions at school in order to meet the needs of the working
environment. Why don't we discuss more on this practical issue
of direct and immediate concern to us ???
