		The Sun After The Storm
		-----------------------

the pillow is my friend during times like these
 along with my blanket and my bed
 for during times like these
  when the walls seem to be closing in on me
  and my life seems such a mess
 i can sleep away the bad
 and hope to wake up to find a brighter, newer life
     the sun after the storm

some turn to booze or pills
 or something else, but i...
 i just turn to sleep
  i feel like i could lay there and
  never face the world again
 just thinking and dreaming
 about the way i want life to be when i wake up
     the sun after the storm
