I would like to see evidence to backup this assertion. As I recall Nicaragua abstained from voting on a resolution condemning the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the UN. Thus their official position was one of neither support nor condemnation. Does anyone have substantiated evidence on this? My own evidence on the Nicaraguan vote is my recollection, but I am confident my memory is correct. tim sevener whuxn!orb
