It is my understanding that the recent hospitalization of the
author of "Bloom County" is the result of recent efforts by a
certain religious Christian Fundamentalist sect in order to prevent the
announcement of the apocalypse a-la-Halley's comet, which a certain
cartoon hacker was disseminating with the help of his Banana Jr.

I cannot sign this, for I have not purchased apocalypse insurance.
