The firebomb was placed by a student employee of the computing center. No one really knows the reasons, though at the time there had been some vehement objection amongst the business community in Phreasnaugh to the computerization at FSU (now known as CSUF), and one theory which many people adhered to was that a consortium of business owners paid the student to commit the crime. As the student refused to explain his motives, this will most likely remain a mystery. The student did serve (and may still be serving, for all I know) a jail sentence for the crime. -- ==================================== Disclaimer: I hereby disclaim any and all responsibility for disclaimers. tom keller {ihnp4, dual}!ptsfa!gilbbs!mc68020 (* we may not be big, but we're small! *)
