In a Czech language textbook (you see, I met this chic Czech chick once and --
never mind.....) I read a dialog where a student makes a pass at a country girl.
The country girl says she never goes out with students: they are either too
poor, too serious, or too intelligent.  Our hero asks which attribute applies
to him, and the girl replies that all three fit.
