  I really felt I had said all I was going to say on this, folks.
Honest. Until I read an obviously delibrately insulting line like
this (no insult to those who have been through the EST training intended):

   Many answers to this: 1) We have been through that discussion ad
nauseum in this group already; 2) The source of a viewpoint is irrelevant;
3) No, I have never been through an EST seminar, as though it matters,
although I have been through some in some ways similar but in some ways
different (no, please let's not go through the comparison discussion yet again)
experiences; 4) the very term you use indicates your mind is already made up,
so what is the point of initiating a discussion with you;

  Well, *I* certainly don't believe that! You don't have to do a damn
thing except WANT to have the control. If you don't want it you don't
have it. If you do, grab it and it's yours. On the other hand, if you'd
RATHER go on believing you *have* to have 8 hours of sleep a night (or
*have* to have or to do whatever), that's up to you. As long as you're 
attached to believing it, and willing to sacrifice whatever else you
could have or could do to preserve that belief, you get to be right, too. 
How convenient! But just remember the price you may be paying for
that covenience.

  "Degenerated" is surely YOUR opinion? I personally think that if
ONE PERSON on this whole net realizes that they have more time available
than they previously thought, then it will be well worth all the negative
judgments (such as yours clearly is) that I or anyone else might undergo.
