      That's piss FIR willie, not piss "FIRE"; if you've ever had
      to take increment cores from a stand of white fir (aka "piss fir")
      you'll know why it's called that. Loggers use "piss fir willie"
      as a derogatory term for U.S. Forest Service employees, especially
      timber sales officers, whose job involves enforcing lots of little
      regulations that cause the loggers trouble. Piss fir is a relatively
      low grade timber species, very susceptible to rot.

      On the other hand, if you've ever been involved in forest fire
      suppression work, you might agree that "piss FIRE" is also an
      appropriate term.
