My ex is a consultant for the Bell System, I was a Bellcore flunkie... when *I* got home, the absolute LAST thing I wanted to discuss was computers, programs, chips, bugs, cables, logins or ANYTHING ELSE like that. He was (still is) very wrapped up in the world of silicon chips, and didn't want to stop talking shop. It got to the point where it was the only thing we could talk about because it was the only thing we had in common. (ARGH!!!!!!!) My current SO knows very little about computers, and I think its great. We have so many other things to talk about and do together. Neither one of us drags problems home from work, and that's the way it should be.
