I am looking for some public domain backup and restore
utilities with a nice user interface.  These can be
independant utilities or ones that use the standard
UNIX dump and restore.  

I realize that alot of shell scripts may exist for this
but I really prefer C.

If any of you have the C version of the Georgia Tech's
backup and restore utilities, I would appreciate some
mail on such.
