If you post different versions of a tool/game/whatever, please indicate VERY clearly in the bug fixes what it is you are fixing -- this is particularly true on fixes that are designed to be ed(1) scripts or patch(1L) scripts; since they do very strange things or nothing at all to the wrong source. One suggestion is to save a copy of the article identifier (that's the one that says <1234@mysite.ARPA> or whatever, and reference it when you post bug fixes/enhancements to net.sources.bugs.
