A lot of this seems to dribble in (often days behind the discussion) from the UUCP side of things. I understand that the transmission technology in UUCP is not what we have on the ARPA side; in return, before posting replies to messages, realize that someone else on the other side of the UUCP delay might be posting the same messages.
