I was reading an article in Sport's Illustrated the other day about
Gamblers Anonymous.  They mentioned that the attempted suicide rate
among the compulsive gamblers was 20 per cent, which is 100 times
greater than the population at large.

I found the article very interesting and would recommend it. I'm sorry
that I don't have the date;  I was waiting for my car to be repaired
but I recall that the cover was devoted to sports and gambling.
