I recommend that before trying to create a new group, that you follow the procedure laid out in net.announce.newusers: submit articles about letterman to net.tv and if the volume of postings increases to the point that it begins to annoy everyone in the group, and this remains true for several months, then you can begin the official proposal and voting. If you don't want to annoy Europe and Australia with Lettermania, then kindly set the Distribution: line in your header to Distribution: na when submitting your letterman articles. Also, be advised that if you get a small but vocal "hardcore" group that you might want to set up a letterman "viewer-mailing-list" to service their needs. Hutch
