Apparently-To: rnews@mcvax This discussion brings a question to mind: Has anyone ever tried to do I/O scheduling? It seems to me that it would be nice I/O for interactive processes (reading editor buffers, paging) be done at a higher priority. Did anyone do any experiments in this direction?
