I'm running 4.3bsd UNIX. The characteristics of our configuration are: 1) Local area net of workstations linked by Ethernet TCP/IP 2) Direct uucp telephone connections to many hosts 3) A host, one uucp hop away, which has a gateway into the ARPA net 4) Respect of mixed addresses and quotes, e.g. decwrl!"mit-oz.arpa" 5) Possible incorporation of a smart mailer, such as the recently posted uumail I have no intention of learning sendmail's arcane programming language. Has anyone worked out the details of what seems to be a common configuration? Please respond to me directly; I will summarize and post the results to the net. -- Ken Turkowski @ CIMLINC, Menlo Park, CA UUCP: {amd, decwrl, hplabs, seismo}!turtlevax!ken ARPA: turtlevax!ken@DECWRL.DEC.COM
