When I try to unpack shar'd files, it trips over this line: cat > $file << '_END_OF_FILE_' The problem appears to hinge on the '<<', with my shell complaining: line 12: Invalid redirection Are there any shars out there that do not utilize '<<', or is this a granite cornerstone of all shars? Appreciative of any help... --pat traynor-- -- uucp: ...!harvard!bbnccv!bbncc7!ptraynor arpa: ptraynor@bbncc7
