I would rather like to see Halley's Comet with my own eyes before it
vanishes away.  There is a small problem that 7x35 binoculars are the
best optical gear I own, and a much larger problem that downtown Toronto
is a really lousy place for comet-spotting and I don't own a car.

Anybody know if there are organized comet-gazing expeditions hereabouts?
I don't mean Australia or South Africa or even the Caribbean, just getting
an hour or two's drive out of town to moderate the light pollution.
