Carolina, Chapel Hill Lines: 18 Summary: I have a 1980 Ford Fiesta. The service chart that came in the glove compartment only listed scheduled service for the first four years. Since then I've scheduled preventative maintenance been repeating the last two years' recommendations. As I've learned more about how cars work, I've come to realize that this list is inadequate, as it omits many checks and replacements that should be scheduled. Therefore, I would like to find a good service manual that tells me which tasks my mechanic should perform, and how often (also, if the instructions are simple enough, I would like to do more work myself -- so far I only change the oil). So, what is the best service manual for a 1980 Ford Fiesta -- and how do I get a copy? All I've seen in bookstores is Chiltons. I was not impressed with this manual, and more knowledgeable people agreed that Chiltons is pretty poor. Any suggestions? Frank Silbermann
