A co-worker of mine just showed me a magazine article about an effort
by Volkswagon and American Airlines to give a discount air travel rate
to Germany, discount car rental while you're there, a convenient purchase
plan for you to get a Volkswagon with your specs. and then they ship it     
home for you.  It seems to take some of the hassle out of European car
buying.  I was just wondering if anybody had heard of it.
