Quoted from 3/18/86 issue of PC-WEEK (p. 3):

	"When asked about the comments by members of the RT team,
	an IBM spokeswoman replied, "It was not an accurate
	comment.  Not all IBM information is correct."

...including this information.

(Following the conference, all members of the RT team and IBM
spokeswomen were summarily executed.)  :-)


Just as a side note, I find it quite odd that they used the phrase
"spokeswomen", especially since they never used their name.  What
does gender have to do with the announcement?  They might as well
have said, "the freckled 28-year old spokeperson said...".
