Has anyone looked into adapting/implementing the IEEE proposed
standard (draft for consideration?) Microprocessor Operating System Interface
with a modula2 binding of functions to PROCEDUREs?
The library described seems overspecific in required bit patterns, etc,
and it needs more named TYPEs, enumerations, mnemonic identifiers, etc.
Still, the intent of the project seems very compatible with our need for
a standard M2 I/O and OS-interface library.
