Posting for a friend wo net access:

He has an Epson QX-10, bought when it seemed the greatest machine
since <insert appropriate superlative>.  He uses it to display
statistics, but curses BASIC's (lack of) speed.  As an underfinanced
bio researcher he has time enough to learn to use the graphics
directly (already accomplished at Apple II graphics) but the QX10
manuals don't seem to cover the inner workings of the display.

Can anyone lend a pointer to advanced QX-10 graphics or to some
moderately-priced package that'll get him there?
