I've heard spring, February, March, April 1 (now April 15 - great day, huh!). In case you don't know, OS MERGE combines UN*X and DOS under one file system, with DOS running as a background process. After you invoke DOS (dos &), the push of a key sends you into DOS-land. Hit the key again, UN*X land. I've seen this thing demo'ed (sp) and it looks like a winner. You can buy a 6300+, but without OS MERGE. I can't get a straight answer from any dealers on whether if I buy now, I can upgrade - without forking over large $$$. If you know anything about this thing let's hear from you. In particular: - When - How compatible is DOS (will it run AutoCad and other programs that think they *own* the machine) - Any hands on experience out there (AT&T folk, if you can talk...) - How much Let's keep this centered on OS MERGE as much as possible. Followups to net.micro only.
